You Remind Me

You eyes remind me of the stars that shine so bright in the night

Your smile reminds me of a warm summer day with all its brilliant light.

Your gentle embrace reminds me of a cascading water fall

That rejuvenates my body and sends tingles up my spine.

When you wrap your arms around my body

There’s no doubt that you are mine.

You remind me each day of just how love should be

In the way your soft body tingles close to me.

You are the breath that I breathe

You are the melody in my song

You remind me that without your love my world would be cold and dark all day long.

Humour At Large
My Doting Underwear
By Tameika Sterling-Williamson

I woke up this morning in  my underwear.
I took it off and realized it had a tear.
Oh dear! What could have caused this mess?
It was then I decided to protest.

I asked my spouse,
Was it you or was it the mouse?
He replied, "As far as I know I am the only mouse in the house."

Well to the human mouse in the house
Next time you decide to make a dent!
Ask permission, because we both pay rent.
It's not that I mind when you fondle
But I think you can be far more humble!

The Skeleton

by Mavrine Campbell

The skeleton, oh the skeleton.
It's  a frame-work of bones
Join together as one.
From yu head straight down to yu foot bottom.

The skeleton, oh the skeleton
It gives the body shape.
Also gives protection,
To the heart and the brain and the other organs.

The skeleton, oh the skeleton.
It helps yu to move yu head
Yu foot and yu hand.
I wonda wah wouldda happen if wi neva have one.

The Master's Hands

 by Margianna Kerr

Great Great mighty powerful hands.
I am in the master's hands. There is no doubt. I know it.
He had made me with his handy hands.

He is the potter and I am the clay.
He rescued me from the miry clay.
He place my feet on a rock to stay.

Oh happy day! when He washed my sins away.
He holds my hands. I know he understands.
Indeed I am in the Great Almighty hands.
